Can Regestrone Prevent Pregnancy?

I am not getting periods after doing intercourse.my date is 11 but 2 days went stil i am not getting periods.after doing intercourse.. last week only once we had intercourse...to avoid pregnancy if i will take regestrone 5 mg ....pls help me i have 2 yr old baby is with me....

hi,regestrone cant prevent pregnancy.you must take a urine pregnancy test first and in case negative it rules out pregnancy.then you have delayed periods due to hormonal imbalance.in that case take tab regestrone 10 mg twice daily for 5 days and within a week of stopping regestrone you ll get your periods.in case your upt is positive then in that case you will have to take mtp pills.will advice you to start using an effective mode of contraception from next cycle.all the best take care.
