Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
The red veins and pain could be due to upper respiratory infection.
The little bump you are noticing could be remanant of tonsil. It needs clinical examination for confirmation.
Secondary to infection your draining lymph nodes are enlarged. Nothing to worry.
I recommend the following.
1) If you are not responding to the antibiotics, they should be changed.
2) Analgesics for pain relief.
3) Salt water gargling. Add a pinch of salt to a glass warm water.
4) The burning kind in throat could be gastric reflux. You can take tablet rabeprazole.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.

Wish you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr Paparaja S MBBS MS
