Can Pregnancy Happen With 22% Motile Sperms On Semen Analysis?

I had a miscarriage 4 months ago at 6 weeks. my husband has a SA which came back with the following results:volume:2.5 sperm count:27mill/ml motility:22% a, 15% b, morphology: 71%, ph:8. the test had to be repeated because there was no abstinence from sex. 3 days later the results were:volume:2.7 sperm count:67mill/ml motility:10% a, 25% b, morphology: 65%, ph:8. the doctor put my husband on proxeed for 3 months and there was no varicolece. what are my chances of getting pregnant with such low motility? is it still possible? and is IUI a good alternative?

Hi,

The sperm motility is less in your husband case. For that underlying cause specific treatment is also priority. Kindly mention content of proxeed. I suggest Hey Forte like tablet in such case which contain ingredients that help in improving sperm motility.

Hormonal imbalance, smoking, alcohol, hot shower, tight undergarment all can contribute in less sperm motility. If after 3-5 month of treatment with medicine and with good diet sperm motility not improving than assisted reproductive technology can be adopted like IUI as mentioned by you.
