Can Pregnancy, During TB Infection Be Harmful?

Doctor m a TB patient nd havin my treatment done since Jan 2011...m 23 years old...I had physical relationship wit my husband...nd nw worried bout d pregnancy stuff...as we both dnt want it 2 happen as of nw...I have also nt got my periods til nw...my date was 28th..so plezzz help me out...as 2 should I get d pregnancy test done...incase I m pregnant can I abort it being a TB patient..or wil it affect me...???

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion if the period is delayed do a urine pregnancy test.This test gives good results if done a week after missed period.The termination of pregnancy by medicines is possible upto 6-7 weeks.Abortion can be done in a TB patient.Dont worry.
