Can Precum Cause Pregnancy?

I had unprotected sex and my partner says he might've precumed in me...could I be pregnant? We had sex on my first day of being fertil and I didn't see any signs of ovulating but there has been discharge. Then resently I've been having a burning feeling down in my area, what could it be?

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

First of all, if there was ANY release of semen, given the timing during your cycle, then absolutely pregnancy is a possibility. Check a pregnancy test about 2-3 weeks after this episode. Second, the burning might simply be a vaginal infection and should be evaluated by your doctor. The most common infections are yeast and something called bacterial vaginosis.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
