Can Perforated Ear Drum Repair Itself Or Any Treatment?

When clearing my ear with an ear-bud I accidentally went too far inside the ear to the point where I felt something puncture, I first thought that this could have been a build up of wax but I did feel pain from the experience. 5 minutes later I realised that it had started bleeding and it then continued to bleed for a short while. I am still clearing blood out now 5 days on, however I feel that this may be just dried blood. If I have perforated my ear drum, will it repair itself or should I seek medical advice to be on the safe side?

Hello. Small eardrum perforations do heal on their own but until they do there's a risk of developing a middle ear infection that can make things worse so the best thing for you to do is have a doctor check your ear to see if there is actually a perforation
