Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Used in the symptomatic treatment of fever, headache, bodyache or toothache, Paracetamol is one of the safest medications. Generally it is well tolerated, its common side effects include allergic reaction which is very rare.

However, in larger doses it may cause liver toxicity. It does not affect the menstrual cycles. Irregular menses in your case could be due to hormonal imbalance, stress, emotional upset, change in dietary habits or certain underlying medical illness which need to be properly evaluated by your doctor by certain lab tests.

Hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
