OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

Firstly, painful intercourse can have several causes ranging from a mismatch of the size of the genital organs, stress, infections, rigid hymen and so on. You need to have a proper clinical examination and couple counselling. Further management can be planned accordingly. Please do not worry, most often there is a solution to such problems. Just see a specialist and get going.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam, OBGYN
