Can Pain In Groin Area And Hips After A C-section Be Signs Of Arthritis Or Degenerative Joint Disease??

Hello, I am a 24 y.o. Female with pain in hands, arms, wrist, and knees. I also have a burning intense pain in my groin area right side starts at hip and goes into groin. I did have a c-section 4 years ago when i had my child pain is becoming more apparent and frequent in the last 2 months. I am overweight but not morbidly obese. I have had an arthritis panel done as well as Ana, which all were negative or normal. My mother is diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia, my father has degenerative joint disease, sciatic nerve. I am at a loss for what is causing such pain for me and the fact that I am unable to get any answers. Do you have any idea of my next step or what I could possibly be suffering from?

Thank you,

Steph

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in the hip and groin after a childbirth is more likely to be due to decreased calcium levels or vitamin D 3 deficiency rather than a degenerative arthritis. You can consult a rheumatologist for confirmation.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
