Hello
This could be related to infection or allergic reaction
If I were your treating doctor I would have advised you for a battery of tests like blood for hemoglobin, CBC liver and kidney function test urine culture an ultrasound and investigation for STI like VDRL, immunological test for herpes .

You may require a course of antibiotics depending upon the reports.

Meanwhile wash it with antiseptic soap or solution and keep it moist
Aaply antibacterial ointment like Mupirocin or soframycin.
Maintain good hygiene
Avoid sex or other trivial trauma to the glans.

Hope this answers your question
Wish you good health
