Can Ocular Herpes Be Contracted Through Spit From Coughing?

My Roommate was sick for the past week with a severe sinus infection. I wasn't around when this happened but I'm back now after he has been on amoxicilin for 3 days. Anyway he was talking to me and coughed by mistake and I think i felt a droplet of spit or w/e land in my eye. I have two questions! One am i going to get sick now? and two if he was sick and had a herpes outbreak in his mouth(I cant see any on the outside) Could I get ocular herpes this way? I'm extremely , extremely scared right now.
