Can Missing Evion 600 Tab Cause Head Ache And Dry Skin?

hello doctor.....i was prescibed to have evion 600 by my doctor for 6 months...for the past few days i have noticed that whenever i forget to have me medicine at evening or at night my head aches alot.....and my skin is also getting very dry...though i have an oily skin....are these happening because of the medicine...i have a proper n healthy diet also...???

Hi,

I can understand your concern for head aches and getting getting very dry skin in relation to vitamin E tablets.

Let me first guide you that there is no rational of taking 600 mg of Vitamin E per day as it is a fat soluble vitamin and gets deposited in body. Your case appears to be due to hypervitaminoisis- meaning excess of Vitamin E resulting in headache and dry skin.

I suggest you to immediately stop the tablet and report your problem to a physician so that any other side effects can be ruled out.
