Can Minocycline Cause Headache, Nausea And Dizziness?

For the last week or so I ve been experiencing frequent intense headaches and occasional nausea and dizziness. Approximately ~2 weeks ago I started taking minocycline, which I suspect is the culprit, and I am reaching out to the dermatologist who prescribed it. In the meantime though, I feel particularly uncomfortable tonight. Should I get more immediate treatment? I m within easy access of an urgent care center. Thanks

Hello and thank you for your question.
Yes minocycline may be the cause of your symptoms. It is very common to get nausea, vomiting and even diarrhea with this antibiotic. You should stop the medication and if you are very uncomfortable an urgent care may be able to give you something for your symptoms right away
Hope you feel better soon
