Does Persisting Headache And Dizziness Indicate Intracranial Pressure?
Hi there i was prescribed akamin 60 minocycline for acne i took the first pill and felt lightheaded the next day i woke up with slight headache i took a second and the headache got worse i haven t taken anymore but still have a slight headache and feel nauseous - it s the next day - should i be worried about intracranial pressure? Thanks
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having persisting headache and dizziness following use of minocycline. The drugs belonging to this group are known to cause increase in the intracranial pressure hence evaluation is required to rule out this as a cause for your symptoms of headache and dizziness.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this is helpful to you. Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you With regards
