Can Medication Cause Weight Gain?
I've been on clexane for close to 3 months and have just started to notice I've put on about 8kgs since I started I've always weighed 48kgs ( except when pregnant) and now all of a sudden I'm close to 58kgs I've always had a very healthy diet & lifestyle which has not changed the only thing that has changed is I'm now on this medication is this the reason ?

Hello,
I had gone through the case and found that Clexane is not weight gaining medication. It is Heparin group of medicine for preventing the blood clot. You did not mention reason for using the Clexane.
Weight gain might be due-
Hypothyroidism
Lack of exercise
Water retention
So go for Thyroid profile test.
After getting the reason for using of Clexane , I can advise further for weight loss.
