Can Marijuana Help To Overcome Suicidal Tendencies?
Hello I suffer from depression, anxiety and have atempted suicide on 12 different occasions. Recently in the last year and a half I started smoking marijuana for the first time and have found huge changes in my mood and personality and suicide becomes the last thing on my mind. So my question is do I qualify for medical marijuana? I live in a state were it is legal (Rhode Island)
hello user , firstly the psychiatric aspects of marijuana do not permit use for depression anxiety and suicidal conditions , as it itself can cause mental ailments like psychosis and mood disorder - secondly i went through the marijuana laws of rhode island and such indication is only for Alzheimer's Disease,Cachexia,Cancer,Chronic pain,Crohn's disease,Glaucoma,Hepatitis C,HIV/AIDS,Persistent muscle spasms,Seizures- so you do not qualify for that , however you can always consult any good psychiatrist for evaluation and management. hope i answered your query - if satisfied please rate the answer
