Can Lisinopril Tiredness And Dizziness?

Hi i m 36 and have been on BP meds since I was 23 , high blood pressure runs in family. I m currently on 20th Lisinopril 1 daily which up until the last 3 weeks seemed to be ok. Recently I have been been very tired with dizzy type feelings where I feel like I am disconnected and foggy headed - this results in my heart racing although I am not sure whether this is anxiety from the way I feel at that time? I am wondering whether this could be linked to bp meds or maybe just a virus? Thanks

Let me explain the side effects of lisinopril , these are -
Dizziness, headache, fatigue , cough, weakness, orthostatic effects ( foggy headed ).
All these side effects may develops a feeling of heart racing as in your case.
Lisinopril also causes cough , upper respiratory infection.
All these symptoms mentioned in your query may be a side effects of lisinopril but we can 't rule out other causes as.
Hyper tension or hypotension , diagnosis can be confirmed by regular examination of blood pressure at the time of these symptoms.
As you mentioned that your family having history of hypertension so coronary artery disease may be the next reason . Diagnosis can be confirmed by echo ( because of familial history and age in your case).
In my opinion consult a Cardiologist and get his opinion.
