Can Lisinopril Cause Premature Ventricular Contraction?
Hi there. I was prescribed lisinopril for borderline high blood pressure. 10/12.5 Hctz. I am having a lot of PVC s and wondering if the lisinopril could be causing them. I saw a cardiologist a year ago for a full work up and everything was fine. Once I knew I was okay, the PVC s literally went away( I was under a lot of stress and drinking a lot of caffeine). I lost 25lbs and workout 6 days a week. I can t help but think the lisinopril is the cause of the restart of the PVC s. They cause me a lot of anxiety. What is your take on this? Thank you.

Your anxiety and caffeinated beverages are the likely causes of PVCs and also mild elevation of blood pressure. Lisinopril is unlikely to be the cause. However there are better medicines which will control your blood pressure and PVCs.
