Can Kidney Stones Be Treated With Laser?

My dad has got kidney stone on both kidneys ; 12mm and 14mm and he is 49 yrs old now and already had had his kidney's open surgery 10years before due to kidney stone . He is an army and has got a leave of 45 days only is it possible to get rid of kidney stones without surgery I mean can it be done with laser treatment . Please give me some solution thank you
