Can I Take 'susten' For Spotting During Pregnancy?

I am 30 weeks pregnant. today morning i noticed my panty was slightly blood stained with a spotting of blood clot..This is my second pregnancy. The first one was a normal delivery with no history of miscarriage. I checked myself into the hopspital I normally go for check up. The doc gave me an inj of Susten 200 mg and adviced me to get an USG done in a couple of days. In the meanwhile the gynac has prescribed tab Susten 200 mg 2 times a day for one week. Is this safe? We have been told by the US doc that we are expecting a boy.
