Hi,

Usually, Obimet or other anti-diabetic drugs are prescribed when lifestyle and diet changes alone do not work to bring your blood sugar back to normal ranges.

There are some sugar levels that are called "acceptable" ranges; they might be higher than the normal range but still not considered to be worrisome.

I suggest to continue following healthy lifestyle and diet changes for a couple of months before going for Obimet. Unless, you have other health problems that could suggest an immediate use of Obimet.

Thank you!
