Can I Take Keppra Nauseated Feeling?

I have chronic sci and have had 1 segmental propriospinal myoclonus and was put on Keppra for a few months then taken off. With the first myoclonus I had an aura of vomiting. My main question is, can I have one of these again even though I still get a nauseated feeling which goes away without a seizure?

Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

Keppra is Levatiracetam and the drug is one of commonly used add on drug for seizures. The drug is commonly used as monotherapy in partial seizures. You has episode of nausea, vomiting and myoclonus and you were taking Keppra but this has been weaned off. In my opinion the nausea you are having is not the part of seizure instead this could occur due to anticipatory anxiety due to seizure. Still I would advise you to visit a doctor to rule out any seizure discharge. In my opinion no use of taking Keppra by self just because of nausea.

Thanks, hope this helps you
