Can I Get Pregnant Inspite Of Having Protected Sex And Took I Pill?

I had protected sex and then took an i-pill the next day just incase. I had faced the side effects like vomiting but then it stopped within 2-3 days and now i got my periods a week before the usual date. I am so scared and also did not take a pregnancy test because of fear. What should I do? Am I pregnant?

hello,

I-pill gives more than 95% protection against unwanted pregnancy within first 24 hrs. Protected sex with I-pill has RARE chance of pregnancy.

You got withdrawal bleeding (one week before period date) due to effect of I-PILL. It is quite normal and natural phenomena. However, your next period will be delayed for 1 to 2 weeks due to hormonal imbalance.

I suggest to undergo one home pregnancy test 4 weeks after last sexual intercourse to rule out pregnancy.

Practice safe sex. Good luck.
