Can High Fever Be Side Effect Of Polio Drops?

hi..my 4yr old son was given OPV yest morning and at night he developed high fever which came down on its own in the morning..now in the afternoon he started getting fever again..so i gave him crocin..he had motions as well..im worried are these sideeffects of polio drops?

Thanks and welcome to HCM .
OPV does not cause fever.
If you have given DPT along with OPV which is a common practice then you may get fever.
Cold sponging and paracetamol will do to reduce fever in this case.
Other wise you have find out the cause for fever and treat it by consulting the doctor.
