Can Fibroid Cyst Increase In Size?

My husband has a hugh red spot on his left side of his lower torso about six to seven inches round with about a two inch purple spot in the middle. He also has several lumps on his torso that the doctors have said are fybriod cysts. We believe on has burst. Can it get that big?

hi.

yes, fibroid cyst can increase in size. some cysts can resolve spontaneously, some decrease in size. and some increase in size. when this happens, a consultation and a surgical excision might be needed.
