Can Feeling Of Baby Movements Under Rib Cage During Perimenopause Be Gas Bubbles?

I have been having what feels like "baby" movement in my right upper quadrant, more to the middle, just under my rib cage. I am perimenopause, haven't had a period in over 4 months. IT has been coming and going for about a week now. Is this gas bubbles?

Hi,
Thanks for consulting us.
Yes, this could be gasses in your intestine, but if you are sexually active pregnancy is a possibility that should be ruled out by a formal urine test.
We usually expect menopause if there is no period for 12 months, but, pregnancy can still occur rarely for the coming 2-3 years.
Hope I have given you some helpful clues.
Take care.
