Can Fatigue, Anxiety, Reduced Sex Drive, Constipation Be Symptoms Of Severe Thyroid Problem?
My thyroid keeps changing. My latest blood test showed I had an under active thyroid. My doctor said to get another blood test in 4 months. It has now been 2 months since the blood test. I have been feeling very fatigued very easy and I also suffer an anxiety disorder which in the last couple of weeks has become worse. Is this a indication that my thyroid is getting worse. I also have other symposiums such as reduced sex drive, constipation, head aces and brittle nails and hair which supports thyroid disease. I am 20 and a female who weighs 58 and is athletic. Thank you
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your symptoms of fatigue, reduced sex drive, anxiety, brittle nail and hair can be due to hypothyroidism. You should check your T3, T4 and TSH level as well as Anti thyroid antibodies test. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question.
