Can Fallopian Tubes Be Blocked Due To Chlamydia?

What is the liklihood of blocked Fallopian tubes after having chlamydia? I was diagnosed with chlamydia soon after catching it and was administered a pill. I came back in to get retested two months later and it was still not gone so I was an administered another pill. Within three months later I was tested again and it was still not gone. I was finally administered a shot which got rid of it. I am now in my second month trying to conceive and am very concerned about blocked Fallopian tubes.

Hi, I think there is a 4 percent chance of blocked tube after one incidence of infection which increases with subsequent infections. So, it's better you go for a HSG to see the condition of your tubes. It will tell you if tubes are patent or not. Even if it appears blocked on HSG, go for a laparoscopy to confirm that. Hope I have answered your question.
