Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Well, I cannot tell you whether the ear rings are fake but it looks like that you have developed an infection at the piercing site and this may be due to an allergy to the metal. Please don't wear the ear rings and apply mupirocin ointment on the piercing site.

Please meet your ENT doctor for further advice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. As you describe you have brown crusty stuff inside the ear or the ear hole with dried up blood, and it hurts to put them back in.
It appears that you have a boil, on the posterior wall of the external auditory. So the pinna of the ear is also paining due to inflammation of the ear.

I advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, mefenamic acid and ear drops. I advise to avoid ear rings, till the infection is cleared.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
