Can Double Diaper Be Used For An Elderly Lady For Excessive Urination At Night?
my mom is 85 years old she urinates in her bed at night ....she does pretty good in the daytime ..but still has a little bit of accidents now and then.... don t know if because of Alzheimers....or just because she s elderly and unable to hold it...my question is----is it really that bad to double diaper at night?...recently she s been waking up soaking wet and totally nude....and don t know if it s because she s wet that she wants to take your clothes off...or she takes her clothes off AND then urinates because she s cold?? My brother and I have different ideas regarding double diapers....can you give me some advice? Thanks Lita

Your mom is 85 years old, and have Alzheimers. This means her brain has undergone some changes so perhaps she cannot control urinating at night, or perhaps she might think she is urinating in the bathroom. Try not to force her to understand, as she is doing unconsciously. Instead, you can use double diapers and see if this will keep her wet.
Now it's your turn to answer back her caring and changing diapers when you were small. Make all efforts to help and ease her problems without making her feeling guilty for her current situation. Do act softly with her, with lots of care and making her feel loved and cared by both of you.
