Can Dizziness, Vomiting And Weakness Symptoms Accounts For Vertigo Or Food Poisoning?

Hi, I woke up at 1:00 am, turned my head and got instant vertigo then proceeded to vomit until bile only. I have a history of vertigo (possibly meniere's). I can usually control my vertigo if I lay down but this was not the case this time. My question is could this have been food poisoning and not vertigo? I couldn't make it out of bed as my eyes felt like they were rolling around. Very frightening as it was so sudden. There were no other symptoms other than dizziness, vomiting and weakness. Feeling light headed today, a little dizzy and weak. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi, I feel feel that vomiting is most probably linked to your vertigo. Vomiting linked to food poisoining are repetitive and are usually associated with nausea, pain abdomen and diarrhea. I think you need to have antivertigo drugs and to get yourself investigated in case symptoms persists. Hope it helps.
