Can Diane 35 Prevent Pregnancy Or Is Ipill Suggested After Unprotected Sex?
hii!!
actually i am on diane 35 since last 2-3 mnths, for the treatment of acne as suggsted by my doc.. i hve bin taking it regularly ,on time.. its 6 more days to go to cmplete my next cycle of diane 35.. i had sex with my boyfrnd wdout any protection, so will diane 35 prevent pregnancy ?? or do ineed to take an ipill to be sure..?? also if i take the ipill to be sure dat i dont get pregnant will it cause any harm ??? PLEASE HELP

Hi,
Please do not worry. Diane 35 is a very good contraceptive and will prevent pregnaacy if you have been taking it regularly as prescribed. The day of the cycle does not matter if you are on diane as it does not allow ovulation and also causes changes in the cervical mucus so sperms cannot ascend up. There is no need to take I pill.
