Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hello I am a 29 year old White male with deep venous incompetence. Can you tell me if there are any surgical procedures relating to deep veins that could resolve this deficiency in the valves of the deep veins. As the years go by my superficial veins are breking down under the constant pressure of having to support the deep veins functions

In mosct cases this is treated by heparin, elastic stockings and leg elevation. Surgery is indicated in refracter cases where nothing else works. It is made by opening the vein and evacuating thrombus. Also, small veins afr removed from he leg.
