Received a cortizone shot yesterday...been warm and sweaty since. Thought it was just a bout of hot flashes (I'm 47) Today my face became very red and is burning...decided to take my temp and saw 99.2...later 99.8 now 99.4????

Hi, for which problem u received cortisone treatment u had not mentioned. So its difficult to guess the cause of fever and hot flush.however cortisone is a glucocorticoid and tend to increase body response when administered iv.yes then may be its due to that steroid but don't worry consult your doctor, it will subside by itself when drug concentration in blood reduces
