Can Consuming Lots Of Baking Soda Cause Stomach And Muscle Aches/pains, Minor Nausea, Breathing Trouble?

My friend Oskar is feeling sick, stomach and muscle aches/pains other things he is feeling are, minor nausea, chest pain, possible kidney pain, trouble breathing, urge to vomit but cant. (those are his words) I keep trying to tell him to go see a doctor but he wont, he s too paranoid, he said he consumed large amounts of baking soda and salt water, he said he took it because he had bitten his tongue the other day pretty bad and did it to eliminate any infections. he is a minor, male, his name is Oskar I wont tell anymore because he likes his privacy he is really paranoid

Hello
Too much baking soda ingestion can cause the symptoms you listed. You can tell him he needs to stop taking it since it has absolutely no effect on infections
