Can Citalopram Affect A Pregnancy Test ?

I am experiencing many of the early symptoms of pregnancy , have taken a test and was negative. Jusy wandered if taking Citalopram might affect the reselts of a pregnancy test?

Citalopram should not cause an inaccurate pregnancy test as it has no effect on hcg. If test is negative and you have doubts then test again as the test kits aren't 100%.Take care.
