Can Cerazette Pill Cause Heavy Bleeding During Periods?

hi, i started taking the cerazette pill on the first day of my period it lasted 8 days but it went. second month my period has just carried on for over a month and its been bleeding for 5 weeks . im so confused and fed up and considering whether i should stop the pill. any help or advise? thanks Barbara

Hi

Vaginal bleeding may occur at irregular intervals while taking Cerazette. In general, you need not take any action; just continue to take Cerazette. If bleeding is heavy or prolonged as in your case,you should consult your doctor since heavy bleeding may cause anemia.
