Can Calpol Be Given For Cold In An Infant?

My seven-month old baby is extremely cool (no warmth to her forehead whatsoever) and clammy to the touch. She keeps waking up crying and is very unsettled, although she has been in fine form and very happy all day. Is it likely to be teething related or should I be worried? Calpol has got her back to sleep but she still feels cold.
