Can Brown Discharge Without Cramps Be Signs Of Pregnancy ?

Hi doc
i had protected sex last month but i am afraid that my wife is pregnant as she is not having her period properly.
there is little brown discharge without any painful cramps since 3 days. this all started when she expects her mensus. we are not ready for child yet. could you help??

Hi..as you both did not take any precaution during intercourse, there are chances of pregnancy..so first of all get a urine pregnancy test ( preganews or velocit) done by self at home and look for the result. .if you get a single line, rest assured and wait for her menses to arrive for a week or so..otherwise if positive ( double line on kit), get a transvaginal ultrasound to look for site and viability of pregnancy and then opt for medical termination under supervision..
In addition i would advise you both to use a birth control method in future.
