I am a 37 yr old female who is 5'7" and 208lbs, my boyfriend has had a touch of bronchitis and pnuemonia. He is trying to tell me that his doctor told him he is allergic to smoke, which i do smoke but not around him. He was telling me that he is getting the bronchitis and pnuemonia by kissing me. So what he is trying to say is through my saliva he is allergic to my saliva since i smoke.

Hello
I read your concern and i would like to give your some information for this.
Bronchitis and pneumonia are both viral or bacterial inflammation of the airways and the lung tissue. Viral infection is contagious with saliva or with breathing. Bacterial infaction can't be spread with these routes. The term allergic from smoke is not correct.Given the fact that he is sick it is better to stay away from several environment dusts and from smoke dust too.And you should stop smoking too.But he is not ill from your saliva or your smoking.
Thank you
