Can Bang On The Head Cause Change In Pupil?

I slipped on ice and banged my head quite hard. Since then, I noticed my pupils are smaller than usual and I have occasion lightheadedness. THis happened the first week in January and I am just noticing this change in my pupils. Could the fall have anything to do with this?

Hello, the symptoms that you are experiencing are concerning since you had head trauma. Head trauma can lead to changes within the skull and brain even weeks after the initial fall. If you are noticing lightheadedness an imaging study may be indicated. Please check with your doctor since these symptoms may indicate a complication of the fall. Other symptoms to watch for include vomiting, nausea, neck pain, vision changes and unstable balance.
