Can Antidepressants Cause Constant Drainage And Congestion In Throat?

I've had dry mouth most likely from antidepressant . For a year now, I've had drainage and congestion in my throat. Constantly having to clear my throat to the point of hoarseness. Could this be related? The mucus is thick and it is so constant, I keep a water bottle in my car to spit out as much as possible.

Hi
Antidepressants have side effects which range from mild to severe Some of them are nausea.insomnia, anxiety, restlessness, decreased sex drive.dizziness,
Weight gain,tremors,sweating,sleepiness,fatigue,dry mouth,diarrhoea,constipation
Headaches and also withdrawal symptoms. Some antidepressants have side effects like rhinitis etc.
So please discuss it with your treating physician and he may change the drug or ask you to continue the same medicine if outcome outweigh the risks.Do not stop medicine on your own as some antidepressants have withdrawal symptoms
Hope this answers your query.
