Hi & Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concern.
Both Amlong (Amlodipine) & Cilacar (Clinidipine) belong to a class of BP lowering medications called calcium channel blockers.
Since your BP was not controlled with Amlong 5 mg your doctor has changed the medication to Cilacar which is a better alternative and more potent to control the fluctuation associated with anxiety.
Continue taking this medication and get your BP measured regularly, avoid the anxiety related situations, do regular exercise, reduce the intake of dietary salt.
Hope this will work.
