Can Allergy Cause Pale And Smelly Stools?

My son is 12 months old. He is lactose intolerant and has been on soy milk for nearly 3 weeks. He has had very pale yellow almost white, loose, smelling stool. The stool seems to have made his bottom very red and sore. Is this normal? He is also allergic to peanuts, coconut and brazil nuts.
