Can Aleve Be Taken Instead Of Hydrocodone Or The Latter Be Taken More Frequently After Knee Surgery For Torn Meniscus?

i had knee surgery yesterday for torn meniscus and have been prescribed hydrocodone/acetaminophen 7.5/500 to take every 6 hours. can i take aleve in between as the hydrocodone dosage does not seem to work. or could i take the hydrocodone more frequently - like every 4 hours?

Pain killers can give relief, you can continue taking Aleve/ hydrocodon. It will give relief, other thing you can do is take rest till your healing is over, later on swich over to physiotherapy.
