Can A Pinched Nerve Cause Severe Pin In Lower Abdomen Or Back?

My mom's having really bad pain somewhere in her side/lower back/side stomach and it hurts even when she doesn't move really bad she keeps kind of screaming. She thinks it could be a pinched nerve or something with her kidney. She's not throwing up but she is coughing sometimes, what could it be and how can she make it feel better?

1.The way you have explained the symptoms, it seems like low back pain mix with abdomen pain.
2.Back pain generally radiated to legs not much to abdomen, due to nerve compression.
3.If she is my patient i would have started with x-ray lumbar spine AP/LAT, and an ultrasound abdomen pelvis, depending on findings MRI may be necessary if it is related to nerve compression.
4.So, get an appointment with your GP and get the through investigation and treatment done.
5.You can make her feel better by investigating well, and getting proper treatment.
