Can A Person Suffering With Mastoiditis Can Take A Flight To Travel?
My adult daughter has mastoiditis and would like to fly home by plane 2 1/2 hours to have it taken care of here rather then in the state which she is currently residing in. It has been anti-biotic resistant (amoxicillin) and the doctor has had her get a cat scan and would like her to wait for the result for another day (total of 5 days from day of cat scan). She is running a low grade fever part of each day, is lethargic and wants some concrete answers. She is frustrated with his office s lack of response and the Doctor not calling her back. I would like another opinion where she is or have her come home preferably.

I really appreciate your concern if your daughter is having mastoiditis and the condition is asymptomatic then no need to worry about this she can travel by air if she is resistance to Amoxicillin then she can be switch over to another antibiotic, but antibiotic can only be given when it is extremely needed, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
