Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that yes it is possible to have such a symptoms with this unsterilized device. Ideally it should be cleaned and than sterilized with glutaraldehyde to make it sterile. For the current problem you should start broad spectrum antibiotic. You should think for tablet zifi and ciprofloxacin eye drop for eye infection. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank; Infectious Disease Specialist
