Can A Bruise Spread Into A Blood Clot?

i had a blood clot in my right leg two years ago. havent had one since, but i do have a bruise on my right leg in my inner thigh area. the bruise was very small 2 days ago, size of a pea...now it is about 4 inches long, could this be a sign of a blood clot again? or just a bruise that is spreading?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The blood clot may not have any relation to the bruise,it may be an abscess, which is to be incised and drained.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
i usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole , serratiopeptidase, and diclofenac after the incision.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
