Can Vyvanse Taken For ADD Lead To Hemorrhoid?

I am 42 and on Vyvanse for about a month(40mg) for ADD. I have a family history of hemorrhoid, and have developed an episode that is persistent even with the use of suppositories. I read on some forums that the two could be related, but I cannot be sure since I have family history with hemorrhoid. Any thoughts?

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Hemorrhoids is a disease where the blood oozes, after the stools. Do you have this symptom. If it is there when medicines, and suppositories don't work, surgery is the only way to be relieved of it.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have proctoscopy for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with hemorrhoids ofloxacin 5 days, adrenochrome 5 days, and bisacodyl a laxative for 3 months at night to prevent constipation, till he sea his surgeon.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods,to prevent constipation and to repair the rectal mucosa.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
